Does anybody have some good fall dessert recipes? We're having a party on Saturday and I need something yummy to go with mulled cider. I was thinking that it might be tasty to have some molasses chocolate chip cookies, but I couldn't find a recipe anywhere.
Honestly, I would just make molasses cookies and add the chocolate chips straight in. :-D You can't really go wrong there.
ReplyDeleteYou should go to Foodnetwork.com and search for their pumpkin cookies with cream cheese frosting recipe. SO good. They're very autumnal, but no molasses involved. The recipe calls for white sugar, but I usually sub at least half brown sugar. You could probably work molasses in there if you're dead-set on it.

ReplyDeleteI just spent the better part of Emmaline's nap looking through Country Living's website, and they have an awesome recipes page. They also happen to have the recipe you're looking for!
ReplyDeleteIt won't let me post the link directly, so here it is: http://www.countryliving.com/recipefinder/chocolate-molasses-cookies-3589?click=main_sr
Happy Baking!

ReplyDeleteIf you like seafood, my mom made this soup and it was delicious: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/cioppino-recipe/index.html
