No Good Thing...

"For a day in your courts is better than a thousand.

I would rather be a door keeper in the house of my God

Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

For the LORD God is a sun and shield;

The LORD will give grace and glory;

No good thing will he uphold

From those who walk uprightly.

O LORD of hosts,

Blessed is the man who trust in You!"

This passage was in our bulletin this week as a meditation. I was struck anew with just how amazing it is. I've been thinking about it daily. A while back, when I was having a bad day, Aaron reminded that a God, who willingly sent His own son to die for me, was not going to withhold any good thing from me. Just thinking about it blows my mind.
