Tales of a Wedding Planner

God is really blessing our wedding plans so far! Pretty much everything except the location has been on sale! My dress was 25% off! The groom's suit was 60% off thanks to a coupon! It really helps a wedding budget to find things on sale. I am slightly disappointed because I won't be able to get my favorite wedding invitations:

The etsy seller is booked up until May. But it is really my fault for waiting until the last minute. I have found some other options that are not quite as cute but a lot cheaper. Hopefully they will be ordered and in the mail by next week. We also have a wedding website in the works...more to come on that later.
My other big accomplishment is my veil. Even the most simple veils were $35-50 in stores even in most consignment stores. I decided to take a stance for freedom and make my own especially since I just wanted a very simple one. I went to Hobby Lobby and bought all of the materials for under $4 and it only took me about 30 minutes to complete it. Actually, it took me 30 minutes to do it twice since I messed it up the first time.

  1. Wow, those are really pretty. Whoa, you made your veil? That's impressive, if slightly frightening.

  2. I thought about making my veil but I'm pretty bad at that sort of thing. so I ended up just buying one. Maybe Hannah or Olivia will use it one
